We Wish You a Merry Springmas

Spring is springing in Colorado Springs, and up until Friday it was pretty warm and dry. However, the traditional late May snowstorm hit and now the town has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Someone even put Christmas lights up on a tree in the park.

Regardless of freak snowstorms, it's been a nice spring here.

Some early flowers.

Some of the many white-flowered trees we have out here. I'm really not sure what they could be. Maybe dogwood or Bradford pears?

This big tree has had fewer and fewer leaves each year since we moved here.

A pretty sight when walking the dog. And that's been spring!

  1. That snow is crazy late in the season! You sure have some beautiful flowering trees.

  2. Great photos. Funny how spring mingles with winter here. But it is nice to see all the colors when they do finally emerge.
